An excerpt of my satisfied customers

Do you want to ...

  • Be part of the inclusion revolution and actively contribute to real change?
  • Work safely and competently with people with disabilities and expand your customer base at the same time?
  • Creating an inclusive advisory environment that promotes empowerment and self-determination?
  • Overcome communication barriers and help break down prejudices?

This training course provides you with a holistic approach to counseling people with disabilities. The training is unique in Germany and combines the expert knowledge from many years of work in a wide range of areas.

In the free initial consultation you will find out

  • How to empathically advise people with disabilities and support them through ups and downs in the best possible way
  • How you can expand your expertise to provide holistic support to people with disabilities and close a gap in the healthcare system

This course is suitable for you if you ...

  • already work in the advisory professions and want to continue your training
  • are passionate about inclusion and want to support people with disabilities
  • are looking for a career change and fulfillment

Our society is on the cusp of a significant change in the way we deal with disability and inclusion. Viele Fachkräfte fragen sich, wie sie ihre Fähigkeiten in diesem Bereich verbessern und gleichzeitig ihre Karriere und ihr Einkommen voranbringen können.
But hand on heart: could you currently support people with disabilities in good conscience and professionally?

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Would you know how to communicate appropriately and accessibly?
  • Do you know what you should say and what might be inappropriate?
  • Are you able to respond to your counterpart's individual situation in an empathetic and needs-based manner?

Many people feel overwhelmed at precisely these points, and that is understandable. The reason for this is that we still do not live in a fully inclusive society. Many systems are not designed to support people with disabilities on an equal footing, and there is often a lack of appropriate knowledge and the right tools. However, this is increasingly changing. Legal requirements are making it increasingly clear that the counseling professions also need to become more inclusive.

Your training content

The 6-month online training course with regular live sessions is divided into 6 modules that build on each other and guide you step by step through the entire process of inclusive consulting.clusive consulting.

Fundamentals and basic attitude

This module focuses on encounters with people with disabilities who have often had negative experiences - including with therapists. It includes strategies for strengthening the resources of the counselor, dealing with inner blockages and acquiring skills for disability-specific communication.

Establishing a sustainable relationship

This module deals with bridging the “two worlds” between people with and without disabilities, avoiding common pitfalls such as pity and stereotyping, and listening properly.

Agree on a specific goal

This module focuses on the adapted classic clarification of the assignment, understanding the client's situation and developing a resource-oriented systemic view of disability. Important aspects are the adaptation and modification of Gunther Schmidt's restriction model, the acceptance of the non-changeable as a source of strength and the development of a vision.

Exploration of alternative options

This module sensitizes to loosening the model of the client's world before concrete interventions. This includes deconstructing disability, recognizing the productive use of disability and spiritual aspects.

Developing and testing accurate solutions

In this module, change processes are initiated and reviewed. Tools are available for this purpose that can also be used with people with disabilities. The content is based on the concrete goals that have been worked out together. Ultimately, the aim is to support the client in freeing themselves from the strangulating web of deficit-oriented self-perception and external perception (peers, family, society, support systems) towards a positive self-efficacy in which they “shape what they can shape”. (Verena Kast)

Implementing future prospects

This module serves to transfer the consulting work into everyday life. The vision of a better future is activated, the next steps are planned and the implementation of the changes is ensured.

Through this comprehensive and structured training, you will be able to advise people with disabilities professionally and on an equal footing and offer them the best possible support.

After successful participation you will receive a certificate that proves your expertise in this important area.
